Articles & Patterns

The New Year is a great time to assess all of the quilt projects we want to make or a quilt you're planning to make. My husband has been asking me for years to make him a denim quilt! Yes, he's been saving his old jeans just for me. So, I've decided that this is the year for me to make a denim quilt. Already I've cut the jeans into 6 1/2" squares and now I'm working on sewing 2 1/2" strips of various colors of flannel to all sides of the squares. Since this is going to be a scrappy quilt, I'm going to fly by the seat of my pants when it comes to laying out the blocks. I love scrappy quilts, and this is definitely one of those quilts.
